PVMemo is a program for CASIO Pocket Viewer Unit. It is designed for drawing. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to use PVMemo? This program is a handy tool for you to draw and input words. You can use it to record something in your mind. The top buttons let you choose your drawing method and save your work. The left most button let you select the pen weight. There are three degrees of pen weight and a dotted pen. The next button let you select drawing tool. The erase tool let you erase the picture by moving a box which width is corresponding to the pen weight. When drawing curves, you press and move the pen just like you draw on the paper. When drawing straight or + lines, you first press the pen on the start position, and move it to the end position, then finally release it, thus you draw a line from the start to the end position. When drawing a box or circle, you first press the pen on the start position, then move it., as you move, a box from the start position to the moving position is changing, indicating the width and height of the box or the radius of the circle. When you release the pen, a box or a circle is drawn from the start to the end position. When using copy and move, you first press the pen on the start position, then hold and move it. During moving, a box from the start position to the moving position is changing, indicating the width and height of the area to be copy or moved. When you release the pen, a box is drawn holding this area. Then you can click on the canvas to move the box, when you release the pen, the picture inside the box will be copy or moved to that place. Note: When you have selected an area, the buttons are all unusable except the [Clr] button. You must first finish the copy or move process to use them. If you want to cancel the process, you can click on the canvas and quickly release it without moving, thus the box will disappear and you can use these buttons again. The erase box erase whatever it touched. To use it, you just press and move the pen, and then an erase box is created and moving with your pen. The width of the box depends on the pen weight. When using dotted pen to erase, it is the same as thin pen. When you use ABC, you can click on the canvas or drag to select a box to input words. When you release the pen, you will get a keyboard to input the words, the words will be displayed from the place you clicked and be truncated at the right border of the canvas or the box. The font size also depends on the pen weight. When using dotted pen to input, it is the same as thin pen. When inputting words, click [CLEAR] to clear the text area, click [CANCEL] to cancel the input, and click [OK] to finish the input. You can click on the text display area to change the cursor position for input. You can only input one line and at most 30 characters a time. The next button [Clr] will clear the canvas. So take care to use it. The next button [Save] let you save your work to a file. You can save total 3 files. When there is no memory to hold the file, it will display the error message. The next button [Load] let you load from 3 files and edit it. Note: The drawing of circles in this program is not using the library functions, I write my own code to handle it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quick Start Button Description [Pen weight] Select pen weight [Draw type] Select draw tool [Clr] Clear the canvas [Save] Save a file [Load] Load a file Character Input: [OK] Finish inputting words [CANCEL] Cancel inputting words [CLEAR] Clear input area -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If message like under is displayed when you use this application, "PV application memory is full!
