Hi,

I need some guidance on how to make an initrd for the linuxloader2 on my Ti Nspire CX.

I already have a test buildroot filesystem ready, but I just can´t find a way on how to make an initrd with a costum buildroot build. I´ve alreay tried to squashfs the filesystem directory and even created a system.img file formatted in ext4, but changing the file name to initrd.tns of course it doesn´t work. I tried following this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1WsIbxbd_k, but it uses a initrd and a system.img with the filesystem which will not work for this.

Sorry if I sound a bit dumb, but I really don´t know what to do and I don´t seem to find a guide that works.

Below I´ll just write what do I want to acomplish with this:

1-I´m tired of carrying powerbanks and lots of cables just to run linux

2-I want to have wifi with my tp-link usb adapter and that´s the only thing I accept having plugged into my calculator

3-Because a GUI browser would need xserver which is no option because the initrd would be simply too big for the calculator to handle (has stated by Votignator in this thread). I want to connect to the internet and use a terminal browser like lynx to browse the internet
