When I attempt to change my os using the texas instrument student software, I received a message stating I cannot switch my os to an older version. This is the only thing stopping me from converting my CX I to a CAS. Any help would be appreciated.

If nothing works then I might just have to find 4.5.0 versions to see if that works.

It is possible to downgrade a TI-Nspire CX from version 4.5.0 to version 4.4.0 :

1. install Ndless - ndl3ss.php
2. transfer the backSpire tool to the calculator - archives_voir.php?id=3152639
3. run backSpire
4. type to patch the minimum allowed OS version to 0.0.0.0
5. exit with
6. immediately transfer the older OS you'd like to install
