My TI-Nspire will not light. I held her just over a month and does not work. I replaced the batteries but nothing. Does anyone know of service centers in ITALY (Piemonte-Toscana-Lombardia) where you can repair the calculator. Or if you can give me some advice. I bought on 28/06/2008. Thanks

Be sure tu use brand new (and not cheap) batteries.
You're not the first one to have such a problem.

28/06/2008 should be ok for a free replacement if necessary (3 years warranty).

For the warranty replacement:

Centro Servizio Clienti
Tel: 00 800 4 84 22 737 (= 00 800-4-TI CARES)
E-mail: ti-cares@ti.com

I changed the new batteries, Duracell Plus Alkaline AAA but nothing to do. But the calculator works or was born with a problem?

Are your batteries brand new?
That's very important as the TI-Nspire has a voltage sensor and will refuse to turn on if the voltage is too low.

It is also possible that your new batteries have allready spent months/years in the shop where you've bought them.
Check the batteries expiration date (should be printed on them).
Any date prior to 2015 is bad (for use with a TI-Nspire).

You can try plugging it to the PC. Maybe ? :%):
I learnt the Nspire could work without battery plugged to a PC.

It can work plugged to the PC even without batteries, yes...

But it cannot be turned on without "good" batteries, even plugged to the PC :(:
