There is always the possibility that a program will crash your calculator.  We cannot be held responsible for lost of data, damage to your calculator, etc.  Use this program at your own risk. If your calculator crashes, check your owners manual for instructions on how to reset it.

Street Fighter II TI is freeware; it may be distributed freely, but please keep the original archive intact. This program may not be sold for profit. This game is not endorsed or authorized by Capcom.  Furthermore, this game was coded without knowledge of or access to the original Street Fighter II turbo source code. It was created as a tribute to what is perhaps the most popular home video game ever created.

             About sf2t
Sf2t is a fighting game running on a 68K calculator (ti92/ti92II/ti92+/ti89). It was completely written in 68000 assembly language.

             Archive utility
Because sf2 (or doorsos :-) ) may crash your calculator, you should first get Archive Utility v2.0 (AU) before running sf2, as its authors say, "you know sometimes it happens" :). This wonderful program allows you to keep your archive memory intact after a reset (you can' t find this program in the ticalc archive).

I) Installing street fighter II AFC
                 External files
There are two types of external files : background and player. You can put them in any folder you want so that you can archive them.
Note that you can run the game without external files, but you need at least one player file to launch a practice game and at least two players to launch the tournament mode.

                Installing sf2 on a ti92+ / ti89
There is only one version for TI-92+/TI-89. The version auto-switch in the appropriate mode.

For the doorsos version, you need the following libraries : hufflib, graphlib and userlib.
For the plusshell version, you need : hufflib, gray4lib and util.

In both case, you need a 5$ cable (using flink) or a TI-graph link (using the TI-Graph Link software, which is availaible at the Texas Instruments web site : http://www.ti.com/.)
Now, you have the choice between 4 versions of fighter files :

    - Gray fighter, uncompressed :
the file will be huge: 45K, but sf2 will require only 10k. This solution is very interesting if you install a few fighter files. The total size of the 12 fighter  files will be 540k.

    - Gray fighter, compressed :
The file will be still big : 30k, and sf2 will require 90k. (It requires 45k for extracting one fighter file). This solution is very interesting if you install a lot of fighter files. The total size of the 12 fighter files will be 360k.

    - Black&white fighter, uncompressed :
The file is still important : 25k, but sf2 will require only 5k. The total size of the 12 fighter files will be 300k.This solution is very interesting if you install a few fighter files.

    - Black&white fighter, compressed :
The file is very short :  19k, and sf2 will require 50k (It requires 25k for extracting one fighter file). This solution is very interesting if you have install a lot of fighter files. The total size of the 12 fighter files will be 180k.

II) Using street fighter II AFC
                Cheat codes
There are some cheat codes in sf2. Just find them :-). They begin by "SF", and you can enter them during a tournament mode or an 1P v.s. COM mode.
Good luck !

                Link mode
You can play with the link interface via : 92+ <-> 92+, 89 <-> 92+, 89 <-> 89 !
