Forget about the src folder.
All appvars you send must go to Archive.

At least send
-the App (Smash-signed.8xk)
-SSBODATA (.8xv)
-one character (.8xv)
-one map (.8xv)

Once you've sent everything you need, run the app (Smash).

Keys for player one are the arrow keys, 2nd, alpha.
Keys for player two (when not playing with the cable) are the numpad, log, x².

Do not try MAPTEST, it crashes.

To play with two calcs, follow those steps, and don't forget about step 1
-Run the game on both calcs. Seriously, if one of the calcs tries step 2 without the other one being in the menu, it won't work.
-Get one of the calcs in the "Multi" menu
-Get the other calc in that menu
-If you are choosing your characters, enjoy. Otherwise, quit and start over

If you are using two calculators to play, be sure to have the same SSBO related appvars. The game won't crash if you don't, it will just desync.

Despite what some websites said (I am not talking about Omnimaga, nor TI Planet, nor Cemetech, nor TinyCartridge), this game doesn't run on the TI-83 (and the TI-84 doesn't exist). It is also nowhere near finished so don't be surprised if some attacks do nothing for example.
