+--------------+ | mySpire 1.01 | +--------------+ for TI-Nspire CX/CM with Ndless 3.1 or compatible by Critor Includes code developped by: - Goplat - Lionel Debroux Lets you customize your TI-Nspire boot screen by modifying Manuf (first NAND pages) images. Manuf images will need to be dumped and reflashed with another tool - for exemple nsNandMgr: http://tiplanet.org/forum/archives_voir.php?id=10080 Quick guide: - dump your Manuf to a 'manuf.img' file using an appropriate tool - make a backup of this file in a safe place - that's to be able to easily restore the original boot screen - run mySpire to customize the 'manuf.img' file boot screen and save your changes to the file - use an appropriate tool to flash your curtomized Manuf image Note: There is no TI-Nspire ClickPad/TouchPad support, as their Manuf format is different and doesn't include boot graphics. DISCLAIMER: the Manuf is a critical zone in your TI-Nspire. Reflashing the Manuf can permanently brick your TI-Nspire. mySpire has been designed to create valid Manuf images, if the original image was valid. Only use a trusted NAND dumping/flashing tool. Never flash an image which was not originally dumped on your own TI-Nspire CX/CM unless you are told to. Never reboot the calculator if the flashing tool informed you of an error and ask for assistance. Any power loss or reboot while reflashing the Manuf is likely to permanently brick your calculator. Be sure to use charged batteries on a perfectly stable (not overclocked) calculator.
