Version 1.1: Updated for use with Aurora v.86 Setup: Send penguins.86g to TI-86. Run ProgPeng or run Aurora and click Peng. If you are not using Aurora delete IconPeng. Our hero, Pete the Pimpin' Penguin is on a mission to defeat the evil Puffy Penguin and rescue Penny the Princess Penguin, and Pete needs YOUR help. Controls: [2nd] - jump - swim upwards when in water Right/Left - move Pete [EXIT] - quit [MORE] - pause Title Screen: [2nd] - start game [ALPHA] - load a different world - Penguins comes with one world, ZPWLDPNG, which is displayed on the title screen as "PNG" - Editor can be used to make your own world! Each world has five levels, after the fifth you must battle Puffy the Penguin. In PNG (the world that comes with Penguins), the first level is the hardest and the last level is the easiest. YOU WILL GET FRUSTRATED WITH THIS GAME, when you through your calc up against the wall, I'm not responsible for any damages! REMEMBER - HAVE PATIENCE! With time great skill can come, I have been able to complete this game with one life. Penguins are peaceful animals, thefore the only enemy you can kill in this game is Puffy Penguin himself. Enemies: Ugnep - walks wherever he can go Bouncing Ugnep - go under or over Flyzm - flys in a straight path Blobah - Bounces towards Pete Smilokill - rolling happy face Spiduh - usually best to go under Baht - hangs waiting for someone to drop on, but can be fooled Swish - fast swimming fish Fragon - fire breathing dragon head Puffy Penguin - final enemy - jump on his beak 3 times to kill him - time your jumps wisely! Tips: Level1 - jump over the bouncing ugnep from the middle block - jump over the blob from the top of the ledge Level2 - jump down to the ledge as quickly as possible before the first flyzm gets you - dont go past the 3rd baht until he has already fallen - wait until the spiduh is down before jumping across the really big pit Level3 - go over the well (not under) before the bouncing ugnep - stay close the left side of the wall between the door and the last spiduh Level4 - at the first smilokill, get close to the wall and jump after it has just rolled left and then make a quick jump up and over it - make a quick short jump over the pit with the bahts Level5 - jump all of the way over the two smilokills - go under the blobah with quick short jumps Puffy Penguin - take your time put don't wait too long, he'll corner you If you mail me and say that I should make it so that you should be able to jump on enemies to kill them, then that means you have NO SKILZ and you should wait for Mario Land 86.
