Theme Editor v2.0 by Levak (17/01/13) http://tiplanet.org http://levak.free.fr /!\ Important : You need Ndless 3.1 >= r680 (~ August 2012) /!\ ------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.unsads.com/projects/nsptools/downloader/download/release/1 I] No Gui version (by default when launching ThemeEditor.tns) * Controls : In the general view : - Up/Down : Select your color - Right/Left : When text is too long, offset the width to see the complete title - Esc : Saves the modifications to the theme file and exit - Enter : Open the color picker In the color picker view : - Right/Left : Change channel - Up/Down : Change the current channel value - 0-9/A-F : set directly the color code in hexadecimal - Esc : Cancel the modifications - Enter : Applies the modifications In all views : - I : Invert all colors/current color - R : Randomize all colors/current color II] Gui version (by default when launching it from Home>5>6) * Every modification is performed in real time (no undo) contrary to the no GUI mode (in order to view the modification on the active window) * Most of the strings are multilingual (not all of them) by using already loaded OS strings (ex : Theme Editor, Open, Save etc ..) * Options enable to twick ThemeEditor behavior to shape everybody needs - Patch OS Menu This option will activate the hooking procedure in order to modify the OS menu. If for some reason you don't like it, or it fails, you can disable it by unchecking the CheckBox. Notice that you will need to reboot in order to take this modification in account. - Both, Gui only, No Gui are modes that control what ThemeEditor to launch when lauching it from the menu or launching it from the directory listing. "Both" corresponds to the default mode : Menu = Gui mode, Directory = No Gui mode. "Gui only" will disable completly the No Gui mode. You can reactivate it from the options thought. "No Gui" will disable completly the Gui mode. Notice : you cannot reactivate it (see III] Uninstalling). III] Uninstalling ThemeEditor creates an hidden config file in order to keep the user configuration and the current theme file. Why hidden ? Because you don't want to bother with such a file in the crappy and slow directory listing. * In order to delete the hidden config file (cleanup, fedup, corrupted or bad move), rename "ThemeEditor.tns" to "uninstall.tns" (Ctrl+Menu>7 "uninstall") and launch it. This is a special mode where ThemeEditor knows you want him to delete the config file. * You can also delete the hidden config file by seaching it from TI-Nspire Computer [Link/Student/Teacher] Software by the name "config.theme" at the root of "My Documents". IV] Protip : * If you want to create a new theme, copy/paste the default_themes.themes.tns and open it, then start your modifications. Every modification will be saved. * Some gradients fail for certains colors. Remind not to use plain dark or plain white for these fields. * Gui mode is nice to see interactive changes, but not really appropriate to be fast and efficient. Then comes the No Gui mode that is a completly drawn interface that has a more developper oriented kind. * This version of ThemeEditor uses nFrame and nGC that are two syscalls libraries I've been developping for 6 months. I do not include them in the tarball since I do not juge them as mature as they can be (incomprehensible bugs/crashes, incomplete API, get/set etc ...) and may be included one day in Ndless trunk. Be patient if you want to do the same Gui. ____ \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ | Thanks to that badass Adriweb for his stupids ideas.| /////////////////////////////////////////////////////// |`` | | /`````````````````````````````````````````````\ | ` `` ```
