+---------------+ | nSwitchOs 1.1 | +---------------+ The TI-Nspire OS switcher for Ndless. Requires Ndless : https://tiplanet.org/forum/ndl3ss.php How to install it : ----------------- - Just send the nSwitchOS.tns file to your calculator in the ndless folder. - On the calculator open the nSwitchOS file - you should get an installed dialog box. Unless you remove Ndless from your calculator, you won't need to perform this step again. How to use it : ------------- - Take your targeted TI-Nspire OS install files (extensions .tcc, .tco, .tnc, .tno, .tmc, .tmo, or .tlo) - Add them a .tns extension (a .tcc file will become .tcc.tns) This can be done by just renaming the file, but under Windows you'll probably need to unhide file extensions first. - Send the files as regular documents to your calculator in any folder. - On the calculator, just open the wanted OS file. - nSwitchOS is going to ask you if you want to install this OS. - Once confirmed, nSwitchOS is going to ask you if you want to keep a copy of your current OS. Useful if you want to be able to switch back to this OS later. But note you'll still require Ndless for this, so check Ndless OS support. - If selected, your current OS file is moved to the documents root folder and given a version.t?? name. - Your chosen OS file is then moved to the system folder (thus disappearing from the visible files) - Once you get the final dialog box, press the reset button on the back to install and use your new OS. Compatibility : ------------- Note that nSwitchOS doesn't bypass any protection. If on the next reboot your Boot2 decides the injected OS is not ok, it's going to immediately delete it and prompt you for a new OS.
