Generally, for things in the US, collectors like Joerg (Datamath) or Brandon Wilson will go to great length to obtain such rarities.

I have sent the following message to the seller of the 2nd item
We (TI-Planet.org) are calculator collectors possibly interested in buying this item.
What are the OS versions/Boot1/Boot2 versions of them?
You can check the version of your TI-Nspire using the following key sequence and reading the number on your screen:
[HOME] [8] [4] (1.1 ... 1.6) OR
[HOME] [8] [5] (1.7) OR
[HOME] [5] [4] (2.0+)
To get the Boot1/Boot2 version, click "About" button in the screen which shows the OS version, and/or scroll down.
When the calculators are turned on, does a small square appear in the top corner of the screen?

Doesn't really matter, it's the boards that are most interesting, as they are pretty much never sold online, contrary to prototypes.

Actually I think I'll just buy it and ship it to notipa. We'll see what we do next later - can't really miss out on that right now.
