Of course, Nspire-Lua can call the CAS engine. math.eval and math.evalStr for instances are functions that will do that and return the result appropriately.
It just calls the math engine, in fact, and if it's CAS, it will be able to execute CAS commands, otherwise it's not (and if you try, it will return the same errCode as in the manual)

I would, that a library is developed for tinspire, simulating dialog boxes of ti68k, because with the instructions tibasic of tinspire you can only do functions (black boxes) while with instructions dialog boxes can be made functions aids, easy data entry
