Un interpréteur de TI-Basic est beaucoup plus compliqué qu'un émulateur, mais les N0100 et N0110 n'ayant pas plus de RAM que les TI-eZ80, c'est probablement la seule solution d'usage général, même si des productions comme le tihle de Tari pourraient s'avérer utiles dans certains cas.

Cela ressemble un peu à une déclaration de guerre quand même !

La suppression de la programmation de l'Assemblée est l'une des rares choses que la communauté craignait que TI nous retire. Pour cette raison, nous avons fait très attention à ne pas gâcher les restrictions du mode examen, comme simuler le voyant d'examen, la barre d'état bleue ou une mémoire vide. Cependant, maintenant que l'assemblage est officiellement retiré, il n'y a plus de raison pour les développeurs de respecter les restrictions du mode examen, ce qui ouvre la voie à une triche beaucoup plus facile dans les environnements d'examen!

Cela signifie que toutes les calculatrices TI-84 Plus CE auront au moins une faille de sécurité critique plus souvent qu'elles ne le font.

Je vais interdire ces calculatrices pleines de failles de sécurité dans mes classes

Très bonne initiative de la part de TheLastMillennial
Même si ça ne fera pas changer les choses auprès de TI, cela reste un bon moyen de mettre les profs ainsi que les surveillants d'examen au courant de cette injustice.
Cela pourrait même à petite échelle empêcher les professeurs d'obliger leurs élèves à mettre à jour leur calculatrice en 5.5+.
Bien que maintenant un jailbreak soit disponible, cette mesure est donc moins utile, TI finira forcément par corriger ça, et il faudra espérer avoir convaincu le maximum de personne à ce moment là

A vrai dire, dans mon établissement, les rares professeurs qui :

• utilisent des calculatrices avec leurs élèves
• et sont suffisamment au courant pour savoir qu'il est possible de mettre à jour ces calculatrices

ont laissé tomber la mise en place du mode examen pour les devoirs surveillés. Les contraintes sont beaucoup trop nombreuses et cela prend trop de temps (en gros, sur un DS d'1h et pour une seule classe, cela peut prendre jusqu'à 15 minutes juste pour vérifier que tout le monde est en mode examen : inacceptable !)

Par ailleurs, ce fichu mode examen n'a jamais été appliqué en examen...

Quant à forcer/inciter des élèves à mettre à jour leur calculatrice, je ne connais aucun prof qui ait fait cela (à part moi, pour mes élèves ayant des Nspire, lorsque cela améliorait les capacités de la calculette).

Déjà que, face à un constructeur qui a la main sur le logiciel et le matériel et qui n'est pas prêt au moindre compromis (aucune prise de contact à ma connaissance avec les éléments féconds de cemetech depuis la sortie d'arTIfiCE v1.0), la communauté non-enseignante de développement est déjà en situation d'extrême faiblesse, à la merci de la moindre mise à jour logicielle ou pire matérielle. Le répit actuel ne durera au mieux que quelques mois.

Malgré donc cette situation déjà extrêmement défavorable, certains éléments de la communauté se croient malins d'aller dénoncer les failles auprès de TI-Cares :

Bon dans le cas actuel ça ne change probablement rien à ce que TI savait déjà.
Mais ça montre surtout que visiblement, même sur cemetech ou #cemetech, aucun exploit ne doit être évoqué publiquement avant sa sortie.
