You have to write in trigtan(sin(x)/cos(x)).

What I was saying a few posts up is that there isn't ONE good answer but SEVERAL good answers.
For example,

$mathjax$\frac{x^2+1}{x}$mathjax$

is the same as

$mathjax$x+\frac{1}{x}$mathjax$

. The first one is better for studying the sign... but the second one is much better for calculating the derivative !

Sous Khicas, la commande menu B:Options 8: clear history provoque le reset de la calculatrice. Ce problème ne semble pas se produire si aucun calcul n'a été effectué ou si ndless n'est pas lancé. une idée ?

Ce morceau de l'interface n'a pas dû être géré... et provoque une erreur inconnue.
Adriweb ? un oubli ? ou un bug ?

Euhh, en effet, ça reboote...
Probablement un problème de corruption mémoire, et vu que le reset() appelé par le clear history fait un collectgarbage() pour nettoyer la mémoire... ça ne se passe pas très bien.

Of course not !
You really don't seem to understand what I stated twice. The answers given by Khicas ARE correct. But you MAY want to rewrite them in an alternative way. To do this, there are some specific functions for trigonometric expressions, e.g. "trigtan" which transforms the expression into one expressed only with "tan".
You should read the manual... (Here the trigonometry pages...)

Yes, I see. I don't know much about trig. Sorry. I just asked because it works differently from what TI advertised for their CAS. Thanks a lot for all of the help, Bisam.

Of course, it does ! It (KhiCAS) is NOT their (TI's) CAS... it is an alternative CAS !

Hey first post here and have some doubts.
I recently updated my firmware to the lastest 4.2.0.532 and installed ndless+nSonic. After some research i found that there's a away to "put" CAS on my calculator, I read some tutorials and looks like my calculator is revision O(0?) so i can't do it.

I searched more and i found this but it crashes like the one in the video, after closing the file it resets my calculator.
So what should i do? Post some dumps and let you devs take care of it( if this is maintaned) or downgrade to a more stable version if so which?

It is known that KhiCAS is having issues, especially on recent versions. There isn't much that can be done about it.
Your revision (O) won't allow to early versions that might have been more stable in this regard, no.

Anyway, I shall remind you that putting a CAS engine on your non-CAS device will be considered cheating on exams relying on such non-CAS devices ; as such, if you get caught, you'll be in trouble.
