Well apparently, you flashed a wrong image in the Boot2 partition.

By using the Diags combo, you should be able to install an OS and then resume the tutorial at step D.
In this context, nLoader won't be enabled. So you need to install a non-CAS OS for now.

I just installed the latest, official non-cas OS. Still nothing :/

After the transfer the calculator restarts and I still get the red cross.

The red cross won't disappear until you properly complete the tutorial.

You need to use the Diags combo on each reboot for now.

That was how I got to the gray screen with the clock:

After a few seconds, the calculator restarted and when I tried to access the "Diag-Menu" again, it said, that there is no OS installed, like in the picture shown before

Do you think TI-Care would help?

I have no idea about why the OS does apparently uninstall itself.
I've contacted @parrotgeek1 about this.

I doubt TI-Cares is going to solve this.

In order to help people stop picking the wrong image in nMaker, I think you should verify in the code if the boot2 image is named "BOOT2" and the nLoader image is "nLdr"
Also, there is still the strange graphical bug on CR4 I posted about earlier, where the prompt for what image to pick isn't visible

EDIT: It happened to someone else too... you really need to fix it

What exactly is the problem, that my calc doesn't work anymore?

Was it me flashing the wrong image? Or doesn't work with hardware revision AB?

Should I try it again and be more careful, if I get / buy a new calc?

My guess is that you didn't select the right file at step D5.

It could be fixed easily by resuming at step D and being more careful.

But you need an OS for this, and apparently in your case when you send the non-CAS OS 4.5 it does remove itself on its first boot.
I don't know why, such behaviour hasn't been reported in this topic.

The OS doesn't completely remove itself. At least I can't install any OS lower than 4.5. So there should be something installed, right?

I've probably just got a weird calculator ^^

Thank you for your help tho
