Une fois le logiciel installé, on trouve tous les autres fichiers non encore disponibles sur le site officiel concernant la TI-Nspire CX II dans le sous-dossier TI-Nspire Updates du dossier d'installation.
Texas Instruments nous sort donc ainsi ce soir sa première mise à jour pour TI-Nspire CX II. De numéro de version complet 5.0.0.1683, elle se décline en trois fichiers :
- un .tcc2 pour les TI-Nspire CX II CAS, TI-Nspire CX II-C CAS et TI-Nspire CX II-T CAS
- un .tct2 pour la TI-Nspire CX II-T
- un .tco2 pour la TI-Nspire CX II
A priori rien de nouveau par rapport aux fonctionnalités de la version 5.0 déjà présentées puis complétées lors de notre reportage à la T3IC2019.
Précisons donc que ces fichiers ne seront reconnus ni par les anciennes TI-Nspire CX, ni à ce jour par leurs émulateurs communautaires.
Notons qu'il est accompagné d'images de mise à jour du triplet Boot Loader, Installer et OS loader, compilées pour leur part le 16 janvier 2019 en version 5.0.0.100.
Nous y apprenons entre autres :
- que l'image Boot Loader est compressée et se charge à l'adresse 0x11800000, comme les Boot2 et Diags des anciennes TI-Nspire CX
- que l'image Installer est zippée et se charge à l'adresse 0x13200000
- que l'image OS Loader est cryptée selon un tout nouvel algorithme, et se charge à l'adresse 0x13200000
Toutefois sur émulateur ça plante de suite. Sur calculatrice physique les images vont un petit peu plus loin en commençant à écrire sur le port série, mais elles ne s'y exécutent quand même pas correctement puisque racontant plusieurs bêtises avant de planter, notamment sur les fréquences et la Flash :

Si bien que pour le moindre test nécessitant un transfert de fichier nous avons jusqu'à présent dû nous monter une configuration pas possible, en passant par un module WiFi TI-Nspire CX Navigator, qui plus est après avoir réussi à remettre un logiciel TI-Nspire Navigator 3.9 sans perdre la licence puisque les versions 4.0+ plus récentes prennent par défaut les TI-Nspire CX II pour d'anciennes TI-Nspire monochromes, modèles qu'elles refusent de gérer.
Pour mettre ta calculatrice à jour et lui transférer des fichiers, il te faudra donc commencer par installer le nouveau logiciel TI-Nspire CX Premium enfin disponible, qui installera à son tour de nouveaux pilotes USB qu'il restera seul capable d'exploiter.
A l'aide du périphérique communautaire TI-Nspire Connection Cradle v1, écoutons le port série pendant l'opération de mise à jour pour comprendre un peu mieux ce qui se passe :

On peut donc conjecturer le comportement suivant :
- l'image Installer déjà présente sur la calculatrice se lance et se met à jour
- l'image Installer mise à jour se lance et met à jour les autres images de démarrage Boot loader et OS loader
- démarrage normal du système d'exploitation
Précisons enfin que tu conserves après mise à jour le droit de redescendre jusqu'en version 5.0.0.0, à condition bien sûr d'en disposer du fichier d'installation.
