TI-83 Premium CE avec Python rentrée 2019, c'est officiel !

Grâce à majestyofgaia, nous t'annoncions la semaine dernière en avant-première, l'arrivée du Python sur TI-83 Premium CE pour la rentrée 2019.

C'est désormais officialisé par Texas Instruments aujourd'hui dans le cadre d'un article chez son partenaire ludomag.com, ainsi que d'une newsletter auprès des enseignants :

Une solution Texas Instruments intégrant le langage de programmation Python sera disponible pour la TI-83 Premium CE à la rentrée 2019.

Do you think it's going to be a new calculator (ARM)? I don't see how the eZ80 could be able to run Python well, especially because it's 24 bit

It doesn't sound like it'd be a "new 83PCE".
Being 8-bit/24-bit isn't necessarily an issue, but the lack of a good compiler is...

It will also be available in the tinspire cx cas?. the hp.prime is the first calculator with syntax python that can call commands type CAS, there is the true potential. Many mathematical education research articles report that from an early age, algebraic reasoning/thinking, primary and secondary level must be incorporated.

I do not know how much CAS has the ti83 and numworks calcs, so it is also necessary to incorporate python in the tinspire cx cas.

So far TI has only spoken about the TI-83 Premium CE getting Python. The Nspire CX CAS is probably not that big of a deal in France (compared to the 83PCE, at least) so we very well might not see Python on it... In terms of business, after all, it'd mean a lot of work (to do it well) for not so many students (again, compared to the 83PCE). Contrary to all other manufacturers, TI would have to do the job twice, and differently?
But anyway, you can be one of the people who ask them about it - maybe if enough people ask for it, they will consider it.

J'ai édité légèrement l'article.

J'avais omis de créditer à nouveau correctement majestyofgaia pour son extraordinaire découverte.
Désolé, j'avais rédigé l'article rapidement le soir en descendant de deux heures de train.

La nouvelle est tombée en plein milieu de la formation Casio-Python, ça a fait son petit effet.


Précision pour celui qui a édité, la photo n'est pas à mon sens un "photo-montage". C'est une photo bien réelle sans aucune retouche.

Au passage, https://education.ti.com/fr/produits/ca ... premium-ce met en avant, en texte et image, le fait qu'elle aura le Python en 2019.
Rien sur la page Nspire CX CAS, par contre.

Normal, il n'y a je crois qu'en France où l'on a besoin du Python sur calculatrice graphique.

Or, vu l'activité Nspire francophone que l'on récolte ici, les ventes de TI-Nspire CX en France ont dû bien s'effondrer depuis le lancement de la TI-83 Premium CE à la rentrée 2015.

Mais après oui, si nous avons cette saleté de mode examen en 2019, pour ceux qui auront fait ce choix l'absence de Python sera très injuste sur TI-Nspire CX, surtout quand un portage de MicroPython existe déjà.

Alors c'est peut-etre le moment de proposer une solution permettant d'acceder a micro-python et khicas (il faut que je le mette a jour d'ailleurs, ca donnera de la syntaxe Python plus integree avec des maths) en mode examen, si c'est techniquement possible.
