Il y a maintenant presque 1 an jour-pour-jour, nous te présentions la Zero ZGC2, alors le dernier prototype en date de la calculatrice Zero.

Ce week-end, nous avons pu avoir l'autorisation de diffuser quelques nouvelles images et vidéos, fournies par Zero, de la dernière révision en date : la "ZGC3", qui ne devrait plus trop tarder à sortir en tant que modèle de production (ce n'est plus en prototype, donc)… Il faudra peut-être attendre encore quelques mois avant de pouvoir l'acheter, on verra bien, mais en tout cas, elle devrait être belle et bien prête pour la rentrée prochaine (2024)

C'est donc un gros re-design que nous réserve cette nouvelle révision, ce qui explique sans doute en grande partie la longue attente d'un an sans nouvelles. On avait su que Texas Instruments avait demandé à Zero de se distinguer de ses propres modèles, car en effet la ressemblance à une TI-84 Plus CE et/ou une TI-82 Advanced Edition Python pouvait être assez frappante… et on aurait même pu imaginer que des litiges au niveau légal soient possibles… Cette fois-ci, il ne devrait plus y avoir de problème, en tout cas on l'espère bien, car on a quelque chose de bien différent !

- Les touches sont sphériques et ont une hauteur notoire
- La surface semble très réflective/glossy

This weekend, we were told we could share some new images and videos, provided by Zero, of the new, latest revision: the "ZGC3", which should not take too long to actually be released as a production model (it is therefore no longer a prototype)... Maybe we'll have to wait a few more months before being able to buy it, we shall see, but in any case, it should definitely be ready for the next BTS (2024)

Here we have a major re-design with this new revision, which undoubtedly largely explains the long wait of a year without any news. We were told that Texas Instruments had asked Zero to distinguish itself from TI's models, because indeed the similarity with a TI-84 Plus CE and/or a TI-82 Advanced Edition Python was initially quite striking, and maybe legal disputes were a bit of a threat at the time... But now, hopefully there should be no more problems as the look and feel has changed a lot!
