I know it's possible to install CAS on a normal Ti-Nspire CX but can this be done with a regular Nspire? At first, I thought it would be possible through the CX method but the original Ti-Nspire firmware doesn't go above 3.9 so I cannot use that method as the required version is 4.4.0 for it. I haven't found any answers elsewhere and I really want to know if it's possible. I want to be able to just get a regular Nspire so I can use the ti-84 keyboard add on and spend less money. If someone knows how and is willing to tell me I would greatly appreciate it.

It's definitely possible. Although you probably haven't searched much in this site because there are quite a lot of topics dealing with that !
You will need these two tutorials :
First for installing Ndless 3.9 : viewtopicfirstpost.php?f=57&t=16073
Then, installing ControlX, and then installing another OS on your calc : viewtopic.php?f=57&t=18920
You may ask questions if needed, of course. Just be sure to PERFECTLY read and perform the instructions.

Bisam: the second topic you linked, which is the nBoot+ControlX installation tutorial, explicitly states that you need a CX or CM model, but DaddyLongLegs seems to have a ClickPad or TouchPad monochrome Nspire. I think maybe it'd require an older tool?

You're right : I forgot that ControlX only works on CX or so.
Then it should be with Nlaunchy : viewtopic.php?f=43&t=19684 (thanks to Adriweb who reminded me this topic)
