Can I mount the nspire filesystem in /mnt inside the linuxloader so I can manage files in the /documents folder of the nspire OS?
It would be useful to have a way of doing this so I could transfer files to linux without having to chroot inside the External Drive on my PC.

The NAND flash is not accessible from Linux yet, so it's likely not possible.
However, if you want to send files to/from linux with a PC, you can try connecting it to a USB network adapter; it has drivers to support that and you can then use scp/network filesystems/whatever to transfer files.
