Re: nLaunch CX...
I couldn't install the OS that came with the rar. Besides, I didn't really understand how to put the CAS OS on the Nspire CX. If anyone could help me, it would be great. For the time being I installed native OS that came with the product since I could'nt figure out the needless one...HELP

Re: nLaunch CX...

Re: nLaunch CX...
Hi
Before all i want to thanks all the work that has been done in here.
However i have experienced some troubles to change the OS of my Nspire cx non-cas.
As told on the readme file i'm stuck at the step 10.
"10)reboot, transfer nlaunch.tco/tcc to your calculator (an error will certainly
be shown on the computer, check if it is ok on your calculator)
- /!\ the initial exploit can fail. If the progress bar is stuck at 60% and
nothing is shown (you should briefly see "YZ") at the top left of the
screen, reset and send nlaunch.tco/tcc again.
- /!\ getting to the OS the first time can be fairly long (max 3 min); the
progression bar can be quite unstable. If the bar did not move at all
during 3 minutes, consider the boot as a failure
- NOTE: unplugging the USB cable "at the right time", i.e. after sending
the TNO/TNC and shortly after the bar has reached 60% again, may increase
the reliability of the installation procedure. Likewise, the second
generation of Ndless (1.7/2.0) worked better when USB was unplugged."
As i try to transfer those files (nlaunch.tco/tcc) to the nspire cx i get an error message like this and i can't get over it.

Even if i try to restore any other OS i get this message and the nspire is stuck at this point without any OS.

I think i did all the steps correctly as no error message was displayed.
Can anyone help me with this problem? I have a great urgency to solve this problem as i need it everyday and an expensive paperweight is no useful to me.
Many thanks

Re: nLaunch CX...
Thank you for the captures.
It could mean that you don't have Boot2 3.1.
What kind of operating system are you using on your computer?
