[FR/EN] Downgrade Nspire OS 3.9 CX / ClickPad
Re: [FR/EN] Downgrade Nspire OS 3.9 CX / CX CAS
Bsoir

My calculator is doing the same thing again...
It starts booting it starts showing a loading clock at then the calculator shuts off.
What should I do now?
I have a revision S calculator.
I already saw the calculator booting, but only after many tries.

By selecting the delete OS option?
Or there is another way?
I am going to see if I can make the calculator boot, because I already saw it booting once I even fully charged it.
If the calculator doesn't boots what should I do to get OS 3.9 back?

You should be able to transfer OS 3.9 the normal way.

Connected to the PC the calculator bootted at the 1st try, luck or not I am going to install OS 3.9 again, which is a shame because I liked to have ndless on my calculator.
I would advise on the first post, that downgrading at least with revision S calculators might not be working

Now this one is strange I just updated the OS, the calculator remains with same problems, it boots fine connected to the computer, but refuses to do it while on battery (which is fully charged).
Any thoughts on what is happening? Did I received a defective calculator and didn't noticed it (I turned it on 1st time to downgrade it, it was connected to the PC).

Updated back to the 3.9.1 OS ?
If so, you can definitely ask TI-Cares about it to get it replaced. It is clearly not normal, especially with an unmodified OS being the one that came with it.
But I'd advise first if the problems remains that you try to [backup your data and] completely format the Nspire (from the maintenance menu) and install the OS again. Maybe that can fix issues.

Yeah I went back to 3.9 thinking it was a Software issue, really strange actually.
Do you guys know if the downgrade leaves traces? Because they might refuse warranty because of that
But I'm pretty sure it is a hardware issue because the calculator haves the same issues in stock OS.
