Do you guys know if the downgrade leaves traces?

It does not, AFAWCT.

Because they might refuse warranty because of that

Nope, that would be improper.

Well, no hardware modifications or things like that, so they can't really complain that you just pressed a bunch of keys, basically, that they put on the device :P
And anyway yeah, if it's the stock OS, then it's really something weird

I have to see if I can replace my calculator ASAP.

But do have any idea why would my calculator boot up perfectly connected to a PC, and refusing to boot up while on battery power?

Unfortunately, nobody among us does own a calculator with such recent hardware revision.
My most recent hardware revision is Q, and I didn't get such problem.
All I can say is that the problem has been reported to the Ndless team.

But if TI has altered the hardware in the latest manufactured TI-Nspire CX so that OS 3.6 won't boot properly anymore, I doubt there is anything to do with the current tool...

The problem is that neither OS 3.6 nor 3.9 boots anymore. Only connected via USB.

With 3.9, do you mean 3.9.0 or 3.9.1 ?

3.9.0.

I have not tried with 3.9.1 yet, I'm not sure where to download it.

I just deleted the OS via the maintenance menu and installed it again and the problem persists.

The calculator refuses to boot up on battery power (It turns on but doesn't boots) either with 3.6 or 3.9 OS.

Connected to a PC it boots up both 3.6 and 3.9 perfectly, am I am not the only one with that problem on a revision S calculator

EDIT: Connected to a wall charger it also boots up, as soon as I pull the cable it turns off, really strange in my opinion
