There are no chances of being possible to be done an 3.6 cas os compatible?

Re: [FR/EN][TUTO] Installation du switch Ndless / 3.2/3.3/3.
It can probably be done quite easily by those who deal with Nlaunch.
Why can't you just use the 3.2.4 CX CAS OS if you already have Nlaunch on your CX ?

Yes I have 3.2.3. I was only asking because they (TI) say that the Libraries were updated. That was the only reason for me to want the 3.6

TI-nSpire CX CAS
I get as far as step I9, and then the computer software tells me that the OS file (nlaunch.tcc) is corrupted or invalid, and will not install. If I try to install the original (unmodified) 3.1 OS, the computer software tells me that I cannot install an OS older than the one currently installed (even though by this step, there is no OS installed at all).
What should I do? Is this not working because I had already installed the latest 3.6 OS, before I found this website? Please tell me there is still a way to install software & games, even though the software told me there was an update as soon as I installed it the day I bought this new calculator, and I allowed the update having no idea that it may prevent me from getting the full experience of this great new device.

It is sadly not possible. However, can you tell me your material revision (last letter of the code at the back of your TI-nspire) ?

Is this not working because I had already installed the latest 3.6 OS, before I found this website?
Unknowingly installing the OS 3.6 piece of crap has indeed made your life much harder for the purposes of using OS 3.1...
Not only the anti-downgrade protection was set to forbid direct downgrade to OS 3.1.0.392, but your boot2 must have been upgraded to 3.2.4.7 (which you can check through HOME 5 4), a version which doesn't contain the hole exploited by nLaunchy.
If, when you bought it, your calculator contained OS 3.0.1.1753, 3.0.2.1791, 3.0.2.1793, 3.1.0.392, 3.2.0.1212, 3.2.0.1219, 3.2.3.1233 or 3.3.0.538, then it's pretty likely to be a hardware revision I or earlier, and as such, you can reflash the boot2 through the RS232 TTL port, using extra, cheap equipment known as USB RS232/TTL adapter, such as FTDI 232R-3V3. At the time of this writing, there's no other way you can use the full potential of your calculator, instead of being limited to the subset TI feels like providing, no matter the harm to users and to their business model.
If you have a J or later hardware revision, reflashing the boot2 leaves your calculator in a state it won't boot - only reflashing it again with 3.2.4.7 (or newer) will make it boot again.
In the end, same question as AnToX98, although I wouldn't be (just yet) as definitive wrt. ruling out the possibility of downgrading your calculator as he is: in order to come to a conclusion, we need the hardware revision of your calculator, i.e. the last letter of the letter-mmyy-letter group at the back of your calculator.

Hello, I have the same problem.. Bought an J-revison cx cas and accidentally updated the OS to 3.6
I really hope there will be a work around for this problem in the future..

Statistically, there has always been, and as the history of computing shows, there will always be. It's a matter of skill, motivation, difficulty, user interest (and user interest in the Nspire is precisely pretty low), etc. TI has the upper hand over the community, as usual on the Nspire.

Merci
