Regarding the header checksums at 0x16 and at 0x1C - I noticed the changes last year but still couldn’t figure out what they do for them now - do you know what they could be please? I think they are used for reset1 etc modes

Indeed, it's possible they're checked for the fx-CG50 reset modes.
And also for the fx-CG50 exam mode, since some official apps now remain available in exam mode.
